ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ Comments On FLOOR JANSEN - "Perfect Delivery Of The Entire Span Of NIGHTWISH Material, Every Night"

Nightwish wrapped up the European tour for their Endless Forms Most Beautiful album on December 19th in London at the Wembley Arena. They were supported by Arch Enemy and Amorphis for the duration of the tour, and Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has posted the following tribute to Nightwish singer Floor Jansen:

“I’m going to miss Floor Jansen like crazy! I can’t even describe how proud I am to see her doing what she does. Insanely talented vocalist – such control! Perfect delivery of the entire span of Nightwish ‘s material, every night, with her own touch sprinkled in. And, of course, seeing thousands of people sing the ‪Endless Forms Most Beautiful songs with her every night puts a huge smile on my face! Tons of love and respect, Floor!”

It was reported back in November that Nightwish had sold out their biggest UK show to date, headlining the 12,000 capacity sold-out Wembley Arena on December 19th. The band made history as the first Finnish band to ever headline the venue. Fan-filmed video from the show can be viewed below. Expect more footage to surface in the coming days.

The setlist on the night was as follows:

“Shudder Before the Beautiful”
“Yours Is an Empty Hope”
“Ever Dream”
“Storytime”
“My Walden”
“While Your Lips Are Still Red”
