According to Billboard, AEROSMITH has signed a new management deal with ReignDeer Entertainment/Maverick‘s Larry Rudolph. The group had previously worked with Trudy Green and the late Howard Kaufman for nearly 20 years.

Rudolph has handled AEROSMITH lead singer Steven Tyler‘s solo career since 2014.

As previously reported, AEROSMITH will perform on “Today” show’s Concert Series on August 15.

Back in March, during a chat with Atlantic City Weekly, guitarist Joe Perry shed light on what fans can look for regarding AEROSMITH tour plans. “I think, the way things are going, we are going to try and take it easy,” he said. “We may do a couple more one-offs — maybe some festivals over the next six or eight months. In 2019, we will be closing in on our 50th anniversary, so we are planning some dates and a tour to celebrate that. Right now we are pretty much laying low and finishing up some solo things before we start that.”

AEROSMITH officially formed in Boston in 1970 and last performed on May 5 at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.

In 2017, AEROSMITH announced a run of dates called “Aero-Vederci Baby!”, but stopped short of calling it a final tour.

AEROSMITH hasn’t released a new studio album since 2012’s “Music From Another Dimension!”

Perry issued a solo disc, titled “Sweetzerland Manifesto”, on January 19.
